FRANCE - CHINA UPDATE
CHINA MIRACLES!
As I was traveling to the Shanghai airport on my way back to
Europe, the sun was rising beautifully on the Chinese horizon. Considering what I saw in the underground churches I
ministered in for the past few days, I believe that we’re seeing a new day dawning on the
country of China!
The spiritual
hunger, faithfulness and consecration of our Chinese brothers
and sisters are truly a testimony to the glory of God. In spite of the repressive environment they
live in, they serve the Lord with a passion I have not seen anywhere else in the world. Last night, I saw over 200
Chinese Christian migrants come together for the evening. I just wish you could have been there. Although I
couldn’t understand a word they were saying, their praise went up to the Lord as His presence filled the entire
place!

| We truly saw the power of God come down during the meetings
we held! Several people were instantly healed during the meetings. Others were healed within hours
after they were prayed for. |

One lady called the pastor on Sunday afternoon. She
couldn’t control her excitement as she testified of her healing from a back injury she had been
suffering from for over 9 years! |

PERSONAL PRAISE REPORT
I know that some of you
have been praying for me following Josette’s communication about my health issues. Praise the Lord ! I can report
that the Lord has performed several miracles in my own body during the China trip!
He healed me of the blood circulation problem in my left leg and my blood sugar levels have been drastically
lowered.
He also performed a miracle of multiplication. The insulin supply that was to last no more than 2 or 3 days, never
went down during the entire trip ! I even had some left over when I returned to France!
A
CLOSE
CALL...
I wasn’t going to share this incident that happened on our flight from the interior back to Shanghai, but Josette
insisted. After about twenty minutes in flight, there was a big commotion on the plane. Attendants began to run
back and forth from the cockpit to the back of the plane. People were beginning to panic, talking feverishly as
they were looking out the port side of the airplane. Of course, my pastor friend and I couldn’t understand a word
that was being said. It was literally all Chinese to us! Finally the announcement was made in English that we were
having engine problems and were going to have to return to the original airport. We were cleared for an emergency
landing and began our descent. As all the passengers braced themselves for an imminent landing, the pilot pulled
the throttle back within 20 feet from the runway!
As we re gained altitude, the announcement came from the cockpit, that the landing gear had not fully locked into
place and that we would receive further instructions as information became available!
Needless to say, there was uproar on the plane... I had been praying all along, but now the Lord was comforting me
by saying that no harm would come to us, the passengers or the plane. I then remembered the time when Paul was made
a similar promise as he was on a ship bound for Rome! I just wish I could speak Chinese. I could have then shared
the peace of Jesus that passes all understanding with the other passengers!
FRANCE /
BELGIUM
We ministered in a number of churches in
France and Belgium before I had to leave for China. We never cease to be amazed at the timeliness of the
messages God puts on our hearts for the churches we visit. In Belgium, for instance, the message
Pastor Jean-Luc Stouder delivered to his people the previous Sunday, was a perfect
introduction to what I ministered on the following week!
Josette had to take the responsibility of opening a school in Normandy, while I was in China.
We have another school opening scheduled in Paris this week-end and we’ll be ministering in churches on Saturday
evening, Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon.
One of the highlights of our trip was to
minister in the churches of two of our SMTI alumnae. Pastor Christian Lemeunier and his
wife Valerie are doing such an awesome job in Nice. We had the pleasure of introducing
Pastor Stephen Johnson and his wife Zane to them. The church was
tremendously blessed by their ministry. Another church pastored by one of our former students was
Pastor Jerry Sulitoni’s church near Paris. The church has only been in existence for a
little over a year, but is already over 100 strong! We’re so pound of this former SMTI student. We praise God
that we have a part in the lives and ministry of these awesome preachers!
